One of the community’s favorite fall events and a “must-see” for visitors!
Join us for Spook-tacular Fun on Saturday, October 19, 2024 for the annual Scarecrows March Down Mainstreet. Bring the family to enjoy, vote, and yes, even marvel at the creativity that comes out each year in the form of these fantastical scarecrows! We have close to 60 scarecrows that adorn our Main Street each fall!
We invite you to arrive at 2pm on Saturday the 19th to stroll through the downtown and vote on your favorites. In addition, we will have snacks, music, and other Halloween-themed treats.
Scarecrows stay up until Halloween to keep the ghosts and goblins at bay!
For Our Middletown Folks that Want to Make a Scarecrow:
To participate in this uniquely Middletown event, come visit our Welcome Center at 19 West Main Street on Monday, September 30th to pick up your Scarecrow Kit. We have 60 kits – first come, first served.
Bring your finished Scarecrow up to Town Hall no later than Friday, October 18th, 2024 at 5:30pm. We can’t wait to see what you all dream up for 2024!
