The Middletown Heritage Festival is the Town’s signature event, which has celebrated all things Middletown for several generations now (and much older than our Main Street organization). We’re excited that we are participants in this event year after year, which is planned and executed by the Town and its volunteers.
The Heritage Festival starts with a parade full of home-made floats featuring various aspects of our Town and Valley community – school groups, businesses, churches, clubs, politicians, local bands, vintage cars and tractors, dancers, and more creating a visual treat. Of course, there is the candy – lots of it – that is tossed to the spectators adding to the fun.
In the afternoon, vendors line the Main Street with specialty foods and one-of-a-kind items. Local bands keep the day lively, and in-between, reenactors, heritage themed games and displays Illustrate Middletown’s history.
Come join us at this all-day Middletown affair!
