Middletown High School Art on Main
Art on Main started during the COVID-19 Pandemic as a way for people to enjoy being downtown, while outside and socially distanced, and allowed for our talented high school students to have their art viewed when the traditional art shows were put on hiatus.
This was such a success that we have continued to do this each year.
Not only does this enliven our Main Street, but we ask folks who are downtown to vote for their favorite pieces! And we make it easy by voting through a QR code.
At the end of the month’s Art on Main Show, we have an awards ceremony at the high school. Main Street Middletown, MD Inc and the National Honor Art Society teacher and liaison, Donna Lehman, present the winning students with trophies (that Ms. Lehman creates) and a small monetary award from Main Street Middletown!
If you are visiting Middletown in April and May, be sure to look at what these talented students create and enjoy the Art on Main!
